When it comes to the delectable chole bature, frosty titanic ice cream, a huge hyderabadi dinner buffet spread and the midnight biryani – Eatmor, banjarahills has been a crowd favorite since decades.
Adding to the delightful journey so far, Eatmor is now rejuvenated with a complete make over. Was invited for a preview last week and on entering the restaurant, Eatmor certainly gives you a refreshed and swanky look. A huge island set up with the most lavish global buffet in banjarahills was on offer on one side and on the other hand was a unique Tonda ice cream machine specially imported from Italy.
Started off with some of the signatures shakes on offer – loved the classic chocolate shake while the fellow bloggers on the table were raving about the strawberry one. From the live grills the tawa fish and chicken satay were the highlights. There is also a live dosa counter that serves some simple home style dosa with assorted chutneys.
The buffet section featured a scrumptious spread of soups, salads, appetizers, mains and desserts, comprising the best of North and South Indian, Continental, Oriental and Mediterranean cuisines.
As if this extensive buffet was not sufficient for the afternoon, Chef Amey also introduced us to the revamped A-la-carte menu. The Pasta Italia comes with a penne or spaghetti with choice of Arrabbiata, cheesy mushroom or garlic chilli and served with a side of garlic bread. The Tandoori Seekh Roll with Mutton Seekh, kachumber & rolled in mughalai paratha was the ultimate show stopper of the afternoon.
The Desi Stroganoff served in creamy makhani gravy was quite appealing along with the classic fish and chips. There is also the Ohris signature Chole Bature which many of us have fond memories associated with.
I grew up eating the classic sundae’s at ohris – be it the Titanic Sundae or even the sensational Lewinsky, while the classic ones are still retained – the new additions like Crazy Mumbo Jumbo, Nizami Appleicous and cheezy glutton are good in their own different league.
With all the new additional features, the ideology of Ohris “Happy Dining” is still intact – be it in their innovation, service and overall experience.
All in all, the newly revamped Eatmor is sure to offer a stellar culinary experience. Kudus to the entire team !
